2012-2013 Pitzer College Alumni Board
The Alumni Board is a volunteer group of alumni dedicated to keeping fellow alumni connected with one another and Pitzer College. Members of the Board help organize events, services, and programs for every Pitzer alumnus. Current projects include helping with Alumni Reunion weekend, organizing alumni volunteer opportunities, creating young alumni programming, collaborating with Career Services and working to increase giving to the Alumni Fund.
Members of the Alumni Board are appointed on behalf of the entire Alumni population and are your representatives. With up to 25 members and through various efforts, Alumni Board members:
- Are educated about current Pitzer issues and events
- Act as ambassadors for the College
- Create avenues for alumni to contribute to the life of the College and be resources to campus constituents
- Dedicate their time and talents to enhance and promote the visibility of the College
- Act as liaisons between the College and the Alumni population
- Are appointed for two-year terms
- Meet with the Alumni Board four-times a year.
